Position Title:  Part-time Teller I

Location:  Martin Creek Office                         

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Process deposits, withdrawals and cash checks for customer accounts.  Verify the accuracy of the transaction and available account balance.  Obtain customer identification and verify signatures.  Provide customers with accurate payments.
  2. Cross sell bank products to customers
  3. Process customer payments for loans, U.S. Savings Bonds, money orders, etc.
  4. Provide a variety of customer services.
  5. Maintain a cash drawer and complete cash settlement daily.
  6. Process teller work through Branch Capture.
  7. Must comply with the Bank Secrecy Act.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:  Good knowledge of branch products, practices and procedures.  Strong   mathematical skills.  Good knowledge of branch accounting systems.  Good communications and customer service skills.


Position Title:  Marketing Director

Location:  Forks Office – Full-time

Requirements and Primary Functions:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing recommended; Graduate degree preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Access
• Solid Understanding of SEO, SEM and Social Media
• Ability to develop long-term marketing plans and strategies
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports and presentations for senior management detailing customer acquisition metrics and campaign performance; including rate of investment
• Demonstrate excellence in competitive analysis and budget management
• Ability to work proactively, manage multiple projects and work well in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to write and manage the contents of Merchants Bank website and landing pages
• Increase value proposition of offers made to target customers
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong community involvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Position Title:  Mortgage Loan Processor

Location:  Forks Township Office – Full Time                         

Primary Function: Provide various residential mortgage loan processing duties within the bank’s loan department.  Work closely with loan originators, underwriters, appraisers, attorneys and title companies while processing mortgage loan applications.  Acquire and maintain appropriate loan documentation for borrower’s file.  Communicate with customers, realtors, builders, title companies, etc. on status of mortgage loan applications.
