(Bangor, PA) Merchants Bank recently contributed $5,000 to The Blue and White Scholastic Foundation, Inc. Anthony J. Biondi, CEO and Director of Merchants Bank, and Richard M. Hotchkiss, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merchants, presented the check to James Angeline, principal of Pius X High School, and Louise Comunale, member of the Scholastic Foundation. The Bank has supported the Scholastic Foundation for the past ten years with similar donations.
The Blue and White Scholastic Foundation, Inc. was established several years ago to assist students who attend, and those who wish to attend, Pius X High School and two area elementary schools associated with Pius X, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Roseto and Immaculate Conception School in Pen Argyl.
